in Matthew 16:18, Jesus states that He is going to build His church. That's something we often forget, that it's His church. Since it is His and since He is the all-knowing Creator and God, it makes perfect sense that we be the church He has designed. This is the first sermon of this series, and it lays a foundation that God's word is the foundation we should build upon, not our thoughts and wishes. Listen with an open heart to His leading.
