Today we continue our series, "Missing God's Blessings." We catch up with the Israelites 40 years later and once again faced with the opportunity to obey God and enter the land of Canaan. They do obey God and we read of three occasions where God gave them a miraculous victory.

We begin a new series titled, "Missing God's Blessings." God is wanting to bless His believers but to be blessed His followers need to obey Him and go where He leads. In today's sermon, "Fickle Faith That Falters" we study Numbers 14 and the account of the Israelites command to enter Canaan, the land God promised His people. We learn of the devasting effects when God's people refuse to believe and obey Him.

This is the second message in the series, "Against All Odds." It was preached on March 12, 2023. When Jesus was brought before His accusers, He remained silent. Surely if the Son of God had defended Himself He would have gotten the charges dropped but if He had then we would not have had our sins atoned for by His death on the cross. He remained silent for our benefit.

This is the third sermon in our series, "Against All Odds." Jesus descended from heaven, took on the form on man, and was charged, convicted, and crucified unjustly for our sins. The he ascended back to heaven to prepare a place for us and to intercede on our behalf to the Father. No one would have expected the Son of God to be considered a rebel or transgressor but that's what happened. Listen as we explore this chain of events.

Today's message is titled "What Are the Odds?" and it looks at the odds that all the prophecies of Jesus coming and redemptive work all came true, which they did. We also look at how it was "Against All Odds" that God would choose to forgive and redeem my soul.

All of us want to be remembered. Remembered when we pass from this earth but also remembered now. Remembered that whether we have been successful or not we showed up and we tried to do what we should for our family and for God. In our passage today, Hebrews 6:1-10, we read that God is not unjust, that He remembers our service to Him in trying to show Jesus Christ to others. So keep on toiling, your Savior knows!
