Make An Impact with the Spirit

The Holy Spirit is one person in our triune God, along with God the Father and God the Son, Jesus. He was there at creation. Genesis 1:2 tells us, "and the Spirit of God hovered over the waters of the deep. Too many have relegated the Holy Spirit to the collective spirit of God, not a person of the Godhead. The Power of Prayer

The greatest privilege of being a Christian is the privilege of prayer. The definition of privilege is "a special right, advantage, or immunity granted or available only to a particular person or group." Salvation is the greatest gift we can receive, but it is not earned or deserved. It is given entirely through the grace of God. However, once we are a Christian, once we are part of that special group, we are afforded the privilege of prayer. Prayer is the privilege of having a personal, one-on-one conversation with God, meaning there is no mediator or interpreter. Prayer is vital to our relationship with God; that being the case, we should make sure we have the correct understanding about prayer.

Evidence of Christianity

Becoming a Christian is a matter of faith and one's heart. It cannot be seen or proven by another human. God, of course, sees the heart and knows who is His. We should, however, be able to see evidence of someone becoming a Christian. This message shows from scripture some of the changes we should see in ourselves and others.
