The presence of the Holy Spirit in Christians has a positive impact on every area of our lives and the world. Jesus taught that we are the "salt of the earth" and the "light of the world." One way Christians can impact our world is to exercise their right to vote. Watch and listen as we see what Jesus has to say about our impact on the world and how we should live as citizens.

Navigating Life - Faith First

Life consists of one decision after another. Some are easy and make little impact, others can change our lives forever for better or worse. How do we make good decisions? We line up the lights in our lives for the straight path to the solution. Join us as we look at Romans 12:1-3 and Acts 2:1-4 to learn what those lights are.

This Sunday we ordain two women of our church into the diaconate. We begin with a look at the times God called women to ministry in the Bible, starting with Deborah, one of the Judges of Israel in God's Theocracy. Then we look at the New Testament references concerning Phoebe. Phoebe was described as a deacon in the Book of Romans. Finally, we end the service with the charge and the Laying on of Hands.

Mind Your Thrones

With Christ's atoning work on the cross on our behalf, we now have an "escape hatch" to keep us from suffering eternal death. When we accept the work of Jesus Christ as the Messiah, done on our behalf, we pass from death to life. Paul calls the unregenerate man the Natural Man. When we accept Christ we become the Self-Guided Man. We are saved by the power of Jesus Christ but still respond to our fleshly desires. As we mature in Christ and make Him Lord of our life, we become the Spiritual Man. The Spiritual Man is not perfect but his heart is on God. Watch today's message as we explain these three conditions of man. Based on Romans 6:8-14 and other scriptures.

Justice-Mercy-Grace

The only way for us to have fellowship with God and gain the promise of eternity in heaven is to be righteous. To be righteous means to be perfect; to commit no sin ever whatsoever. We cannot attain this righteousness on our own because of our sinful nature. In today's message, we explore god's righteous justification of our lives.

Integrity of Faith

Something virtually everyone expects from anyone is that they live according to the code in which they profess to believe. This expectation is very true for unbelievers and the unchurched when they consider those who profess faith in Jesus Christ. while they may disagree with our faith , they expect us to live it. The Apostle Paul addresses this need for integrity in faith in chapter two of the Book of Romans. Join us in person or via our broadcast as we consider this critical life behavior.

The Life Without Faith

Faith that God is the Sovereign Lord and thus judge of mankind is one realization that helps us live a life worthy of Him. We do this because the punishment for defying His law is severe. However, some deny God and choose not to believe in Him. What is the result of having no faith in God? How might we Christians be guilty of this sin? Using Romans 1:18-32, Pastor Wes gives some insight into this low state.

In the Storms of Life

We can weather the storms by His strength. God also wants us to use His provision through the storms to testify to others of His goodness and love.

Love in Action

Hearing "I love you" is great and makes us feel great, but speaking the words without demonstrating that love soon falls flat. Jesus teaches us to show love in action to our friends and our enemies. Today we look at ways we can show love to others.
